Elberton Hill Farm






Elberton Hill Farm is situated in the beautiful rolling hills of Darlington, Maryland, with panoramic views down to the Susquehanna River. The land was owned by early Hopkins ancestors, dating back to Gerrard Hopkins in 1658. It is located 7 miles from I-95, between Baltimore and Wilmington. It is easily accessible to all major east coast farms and race tracks. The farm is recorded in the Land Preservation Bank.

Frank, Jr. is with the National Steeplechase Association as Field Director. Mike is Director of the Maryland Racing Commission and works as Chief Steward for the Maryland Jockey Club when needed. Amy Hopkins Daney has been manager of the farm for 15 years. Amy's husband, Michael, is an equine attorney in Baltimore.
Frank Hopkins, Sr. served two terms as a member of the Maryland Racing Commission. He was also on the Cecil County Breeders Board and the Fair Hill International Board. Previously he was vice president of the Maryland Horse Breeders and served on the original Maryland Million Board.
